  • I can ensure you that when you choose a small business baker such as Four Creations, you are receiving high quality, homemade, custom designs and flavors in every single dessert. You can call, text, or email anytime to discuss endless options and preferences with the guarantee that I will personally be handling your order from start to finish. You are choosing to spend your money directly supporting my family of 6 rather than a CEO making millions. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making that choice!

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • Payments are fully refundable if written notice is given no less than 7 days prior (14 days for orders over $500) to the pick up date. Payments are non-transferable.
    • Once an order is placed, I almost immediately purchase decor or customized items to ensure its quality and timely arrival to fulfill your order. If I am unable to return the decor ordered specifically to complete your order, and it can’t be reused, that cost will be deducted from the deposit.
    • Should I have to cancel your order for any emergent or extenuating circumstance, I will communicate with you promptly and your deposit will be returned at 100% no matter when it occurs.

    Expectations of Design:

    • Any changes to the design or quantity must be made no less than one week before the event with rare exceptions.
    • I certainly appreciate and welcome any reference photos you have to ensure we are on the same page with your desires for the event. Each baker is unique, each cake is unique, and the design will reflect that. There are many factors that play into a picture vs. reality. Things like budget, design ideas, tool preferences, lighting, flavors, etc. will almost guarantee that no two cakes will ever be exactly the same.

    Dessert Care:

    • Pickup and carry the cake box from the bottom only. Never from the top or sides.

    • Keep the cake level at all times - during transport, storage, and display.

    • Place the cake in an air conditioned vehicle: drive slowly avoiding sudden stops and sharp turns.

    • Store cake in the box in a fridge or freezer and keep away from direct sunlight, moisture, and heat. If your event is within 24 hours of receiving, the fridge is sufficient. Should the event be further out, the freezer is a great option to keep your cake as fresh as possible.

    • If storing in the freezer, place the cake in the fridge 24 hours prior to the event. Never take the cake directly from freezer to counter. The drastic temperature change can cause cracking, settling, pilling, a build up of condensation or other damage to occur.

    • Take cake out of the fridge to display 1-2 hours before serving and serve at room temperature.

    • Cakes with fondant elements: fondant will sweat with temperature changes (i.e. fridge to counter, inside to outside). If this happens, take a non-fibrous towel and gently dab the condensation off. Do not rub the elements as it will smear the colors or designs.

    • Use a sturdy cake stand at least an inch larger than the cake board.
    • Remove all non-edible decor before cutting and serving.

    • Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

    • Be sure to ask if your cake contains support rods or dowels. If so, do not smash faces in cakes and remove before cutting.

    • For cake pops follow the 1, 2, 3 rule: 1 week at room temperature, 2 weeks in the fridge, 3 months in the freezer.

    Liability:

    • Once the desserts leave my hands, the purchaser is solely responsible for the proper care and handling of the cake.
    • Four Creations assumes no responsibility for desserts that are mishandled, dropped, improperly stored, or any other unfortunate circumstances that may occur after delivery.
